Taliban men are afraid of Women getting an education

When big strong Taliban Men need to stop women getting educated, there must be something they are afraid of.
Destroying schools seems to be one of their punitive actions.
In the worst case executing women is also an action they feel demonstrates their manly status and control over humans physically weaker than they are.
Why are they afraid of Women? What is there own weakness that they try to cover with these barbaric actions?
How can we help these weak men grow and mature into competent and caring human beings...
