Dear Prince Philip,

Hope you have a fairly comfortable session in hospital  today. It will not be much fun.

You are  one of my favorite celebrities as you say what you want to and is very well informed about subjects you follow and speak on.

Enjoy the company of the staff and hopefully you will get plenty of visitors including your God Son.

I am so impressed at how well you move and the fact that you risk going down steps without any rail or stick. As the consequences of a fall could be fatal. So take care when you come out of hospital and only accept treatment that will allow you to maintain your quality of life.

Syria and Killing.

The Armed revolution that has developed in Syria has one guaranteed outcome, Death and destruction for people of all ages who get caught up in the fight.

It might one day result in a change of Government and the Ruling Elite, but the ordinary people (that survive) will not see a better life.

Supplier of armaments to the revolution will ensure more death and pain.

Peaceful revolutions take time, but they do eventually work. Civil War is grim.

No one will take any notice of these comment, but I needed to say it.

Here they go again.... and there is nothing we can do about it.  Yes the politicians can say they can help the killing come to an end.. but they cannot. If they provide more weapons to the rebels there will be more killing, or the dispute will burst out beyond the borders of Syria.

If the West offer Russia port facilities elsewhere, they will not need Syria and might try to help stop the killing. The rebels are killing other Syrians as fast as the government...

Do not support any side and eventually the dispute will come to an end due to no energy left to fight.

Both sides are committing crimes so the Internationale court will have work for years when it ends.
