My Most Admired Men
My Most Admired Men.
Admired for the example they set and the leadership they displayed.
Probably the greatest leader of the 20th century has been Nelson Mandela, may he rest in Peace.
For bringing the enemies together within South Africa to a peaceful democratic peoples, and the example of Respect for all the communities of that troubled country. What a man.
Before Mandela my most admired men for a very long time had been Mahatma Gandhi, also a lawyer and a man who made peaceful protest a way of bringing about political change.
What examples these men set. I do so wish that some of the leaders in the trouble spots of our world today would just stop the killing and think of these two.
My thanks to them both for the work they did and the standards of morality they set.
