Labour Party and Government elections

The Labour Party in the UK is a Socialist Political movement.

Their Objectives are to articulate and promote Socialist Policies. If this leads to them becoming the party of Government - Great. If not, then "so be it".

Selecting a Party leader on the sole criteria of becoming "Government" leads to Policies without a true moral focus.

Tony Blair and others who do  not want to see the current leadership election being won by a True Socialist are short sighted and missing the point.

The Conservatives are the party of the Right, Lib Democrats the centre, and the Labour Party the Left.

Stick to your principals.

Good luck.

Labour Party Leadership.

Interesting that the front runner is a True Socialist.

There is no doubt that some Public Ownership or Public control of:

Power, Transport, Health care and Education,

make sense.

The only problem with it in the past has been:

Inefficiency, and doing things that are Not Needed. (the free market sorts this out)

And lastly Funding for all these good things.
There is no doubt that printing money eventually leads to an economic melt down with catastrophic consequences for the "people" it is meant to serve.
