Steve Jobs and other pioneers

What a creative guy Steve Jobs has been.

So missed by his family and I feel for them a lot.

As an early starter in the Computer world I was privileged  to meet some of the other early guys who are not so well known but helped set the sceen for the explosion in low cost computing.
But Steve Jobs and his partner Steve Wozniak certainly brought computers to a new place, in schools. And now Steve Jobs has brought it to our pocket.

Thanks for the creativity you have brought to the industry and may you Rest in Peace.

  1. Like yourself, I was an early learner in computers.
I did a 2-year microprocessor course at Manchester UMIST in !975/76.
i applied to my institute head office in London for books on microprocessors. They did not know what I was asking for. I finally got a couple of books from America. One was written by Steve Wozniak.
I think Steve was left 'high and dry' by Steve Jobs - whom appeared to be ruthless in his pursuit of whatever he wanted - maybe it was his (Steve Jobs) hippy life style that made him that way. Steve Wozniak does not hold a grudge - and neither do I. R.I.P. SJ!
